Meet our Instructors
Barbara Lamb – Barbara has been involved in ballroom
dance since 1984. She co-owned studios in El Paso, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico before founding The Dance Studio in 2002. She is trained in both American and International styles and is certified
as an instructor by the North American Dance Teachers Association.
Brandon Halleck - Brandon joined the ballroom dance class at Indiana State University as a freshman. Shortly thereafter, he began taking lessons from Barbara in Indianapolis, IN. He joined the teaching staff when Barbara opened The Dance Studio in 2002. Brandon enjoys teaching Latin, Ballroom, and Swing - although he admits his favorite dances are the quickstep and rumba!
Mark Montgomery - Mark originally became interested in ballroom dance through his older brother, John, who was also an instructor at The Dance Studio. He began his training in 2008 via the ballroom dance class at Indiana State University and joined The Dance Studio staff in the summer of 2009.
