The NDCA is is the official governing body for dancing in the United States. Its purpose is to provide, on a nation-wide basis, a united inter-association agency to represent the interests of those in the dance profession and other dance-related entities and organizations and to act as the agency for cooperation with similar councils in other countries.
Professional Dancers Federation (PDF)
The objective of the PDF is to protect the interest of professionals involved in competitive dancesport. The membership includes professional competitors, pro/am teachers, adjudicators, scrutineers, organizers and promoters of dancesport in the U.S.A. The PDF is a member Organization of National Dance Council of America.
The National Dance Teacher's Association (NDTA)
The purpose of this non-profit organization is to help professional dance teachers in the field of ballroom, latin, country western, swing, theater arts and other similar types of partner or social dances prosper both artistically and financially.
Dance Vision International Dancers Association (DVIDA)
DVIDA is a professional teacher organization that is open to all professional dance teachers and competitors. DVIDA encourages and welcomes active participation from its members in developing dance standards, promoting business innovations, and celebrating the art of dance.
