Meet the Staff


Brandon Halleck

Brandon joined the ballroom dance class at Indiana State University as a freshman.  Shortly thereafter, he began taking lessons from Barbara in Indianapolis, IN.  He joined the teaching staff when Barbara opened The Dance Studio in 2002.  Brandon enjoys teaching Latin, Ballroom, and Swing - although he admits his favorite dances are the Quickstep and Rumba!

Hailey Henke 

Hailey fell in love with dance at a young age but started seriously training when she was thirteen. She’s performed in many events across the community. Hailey has danced in the ISU Homecoming Parade, at the Terre Haute Downtown Block Party, and at Tilson Auditorium for Academy of Dance’s spring concerts. She is also a choreographer for Children’s Theater of Terre Haute. Hailey joined the staff at The Dance Studio in July of 2018 and she is so excited to continue learning and growing as both a dancer and a teacher!

Cindy Marshall 

Cindy's first introduction to ballroom came as a child dancing the waltz with her father. This inspired her into adulthood and she took instruction, preformed and competed while living in Savannah, Georgia.Cindy joined the staff at the Dance Studio in 2016 and is happy to be sharing her passion with others as an instructor


Josiah Pringle

Josiah is currently studying Pre-med at Lincoln Trail College. He discovered dancing when he was 13 and fell in love with it after only a few steps. Since then, he’s danced in several different college groups from ISU and Rose-Hulman. He joined the Dance Studio in January of 2017 and is excited to teach! His favorite dances are hands down East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop.


Barbara Lamb

Barbara has been involved in ballroom dance since 1984. She co-owned studios in El Paso, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico before founding The Dance Studio in 2002. She is trained in both American and International styles and is certified as an instructor by the North American Dance Teachers Association.
